WEEK 2 Homework: Read CHAPTER 2 in TY book, Prepare to teach 3 rounds of classical sun salutations, Reference 2 muscles and their planes of movement in one asana
WEEK 3 Homework: Read pgs. 159-174 in TY book and Table 6.3 on pg. 140, Practice Sun Salutations, Prepare to teach 3 rounds of sun salutations of your choice noting two muscles and one plane of movemnt in an asana (one that is new to you)
WEEK 4 Homework: Read Chapter 1 in YA Book, continue practicing, be prepared to teach
WEEK 5 Homework: Read Chapter 2 in YA Book, Read pgs. 248-249 in TYB, Prepare 3 rounds of Sun Sals to teach in Class (your choice)
WEEK 6 Homework: Take one Standing Posture and describe what is going on anatomically with various muscles, joints, and bones. Teach two rounds of sun sals integrating three standing postures and pada badha. Read above noted asana pages as well as pgs. 174-175 in TYB
WEEK 7 Homework: Revisit Table 6.2 and 6.3 TYB, Read pgs. 177-183 TYB and pgs. 96-121 YA,Reread Yamas and Niyamas TYB pgs. 7-10 for an active discussion in next week's class on how we can keep these principles close to our heart on this journey. How these ethical behaviors will help us and our studentson and off the mat. How we may stray from these foundational pieces or how we stay close to them.
WEEK 8 Homework: Read Chapters 3&4 in YA, prepare two rounds of Sun Sals of your choice integrating 4 asanas covered thus far.
