WEEK 15 Homework: Prepare to present how you will teach each round of sun salutations (classical, Sun A, Sun B). Think of just using 3-4 cue words to present each asana or the movement into an asana. Prepare to present 3-4 cue words for each asana outside of sun sals that we have covered (standing asanas, Virabhadrasana I and sequential asanas, Virabhadrasana II and sequential asanas). You will be teaching the class, not a full sequence but I want you to demonstrate the verbiage, again 3-4 words, that you will use to express how you want the physical body set up in an asana. This is PRACTICE. You may come to class, present this and reflect that was or was not the word you want to use. You may find I can set up Uttanasana with two words but Virabhadrasana II I need more words, all good REFLECT. Point being I want you to start to come up with staple words for your asanas. Go to verbiage.
WEEK 16 Homework: Make flash cards for each asana we have covered thus far, English name on one side, Sanskrit other side with three instructional teaching cues.
